In 2011 we built a chicken coop in our backyard (who didn’t?) and I thought it needed a cool sign to go on it. That was the beginning of Bainbridge Farm Goods (eventually Bainbridge Mercantile) which started as an Etsy shop and grew into a business that sold wholesale products to over 500 stores around the world. In 2012 I was a finalist in the Martha Stewart American Made competition! I made outdoor aluminum signs, greeting cards, magnets, stickers, and button boxes. I was the creative behind this business and created all of the illustrations for every product, email campaign, catalog, e-commerce website, and point-of-purchase displays. The business sold in 2021 to a venture capital firm.
